Where's the best place to pick up girls?

I took this question to the streets after a long day (and long night) and had some fun with randoms walking through Lincoln Avenue Fest which is located here in Chicago:

So here's a compilation of the answers I received when asking the peeps at Lincoln Ave for the best place to pick up a guy or girl in Chicago. Enjoy...and be sure to listen closely. It's hard to get everything so here's a little help:

- The first guy launches right into his pick up line without warning- don't miss it!
- The second guy speaks REALLY fast....if you can catch it, he reveals that he had 5 shots of espresso and he wasn't joking! He also does a little dance in the middle and tends to end many of his monologues with "this is life". I'm not exactly sure why he does this. Maybe he ends every sentence this way, maybe he was testing out some new stand up material, maybe he was a bit off. I'll let you decide.
- The third one is a girl and she names a REALLY horrible bar (in my expert opinion)
- The final dude gives a pick up line so bad it's almost funny...but not quite. It's hard to hear so the key words are "parking tickets" and "fine" - see if you get it now.

My Latest Toy

So the big buzz at the office is the "flip cam". I had never heard of it but decided to buy one anyway. Turns out it's my new favorite thing. If Oprah can have them, then so can I! It's a tiny video recorder that looks more like a Fisher Price phone than anything. The best part is that to download your videos you plug it right into your computer. Translation: There's no extra pieces for me to lose! Yippee! There's also some built-in software so non-techies like me can still make a semi-decent montage.

My flip cam's first adventure was on a 6-hour road trip from Chicago to Columbus for a wedding. I got some really great footage (well, ok, it's not all that great) on the way there. Check it out....and while I'm usually a type-a perfectionist freak, please be alerted this is not stellar work...it's my first video EVER!

In this video you'll watch my friends react to the new cam (sweat and yelling IS involved) and witness day 4 of my friend's blue-but-called-green-by-our-government Prius.

Uh, yeah ok, so I could use some help on the editing front, but I'll get there.....or I'll start bribing friends to help me.

What am I getting myself into?

Last night I officially registered for Chicago's Urbanathalon....yikes! More to come on this front.
